Liguria Bakery is where generations of locals have stopped by the vintage counter to buy the generous authentic slices of focaccia topped with tomato or onion to eat right away or save for a hearty and tasty lunch. The place is not fancy, but that has not stopped the steady stream of tourists who have joined the line of locals that forms daily as soon as the doors open. Only focaccia is sold here and when the day's freshly baked stock runs out, the doors close for the day. Arrive early so as to not be disappointed.
Wing Lee is a simple bakery serving freshly made cakes and other baked products. Dim sums and steamed buns are the specialties here. The interiors are quite simple with a few tables and chairs, as this place is preferred for its take out. Customers don't have to wait for long in the line as the service is quick and efficient.
We make moon cakes all year long, since we are the only bakery that makes even their moon cake filling in San Francisco, CA. Other Chinese bakeries import their moon cake/bean cake fillings from China. (You don't know what is in there.) This means that there are no preservatives in our pastries! We cook our bun filling ourselves with no frighteningly-red food coloring in our pork buns. Everything is made in the US!
