A brain child of best friends Christopher Hollowell and Dan Dunbar; their vegan donuts are as interesting as the anagram of their names, Dun-Well Doughnuts. Having found the passion to create authentic vegan donuts for like-minded patrons, the duo set out to put their dream into a brick-and-mortar form, the result of which was a vintage-themed donut shop at Montrose Avenue. Everything from the wood-polished display case, wrought iron chairs to black and white photographs, vintage utensils and more is classy and old-school. And their donuts are inventive and thoughtful, hence the juxtaposition fits just right. Their donuts pay a sweet tribute to classic dishes like French Toast, Peanut-butter Chocolate, Pecan Pie, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Sweet Potato Pie, Maple Bourbon and more. In addition, flavors like the Lemonade, Margarita, Peach Cobbler, Ginger Snap and Blood Orange talk volumes about the eccentric yet creative style of their makers. There are over 70 different varities of donuts for your to choose from, and do not forget all of them are cent percent vegan!
