Hank's Cheesecakes has been in business since October of 1987. We are a small, locally owned business (there really Is a Hank), and our cheesecakes are hand-crafted by a team of talented people whose goal is to provide you "the best cheesecakes created this side of Heaven." We bake cheesecakes every day (except Sunday) using our own special recipes that we have developed over the last 28 years. Every cake we make has its very own individual recipe to maximize its flavor, and is made from the finest ingredients we can buy. Everything we sell to you is made entirely from scratch except for the chocolate cookies, vanilla wafers and graham & ritz crackers we use to make our crusts. For maximum flavor and texture all of our cheesecakes are mixed and baked to be rich and creamy to the point of being custardy -- making them so decadent, melt in your mouth delicious they'll send your taste buds into ecstasy. We bake over 35 different flavors along with sugar-free, gluten-free, and savory appetizer cheesecakes. We can't wait to wow your tastebuds soon!

Doughnut Hour: the moment that World's Fair Donuts opens. Doughnut hour usually occurs just before dawn and offers the perfect denouement to an incredible night of partying and a segue between getting kicked out of the club and stumbling home to sleep it off. World's Fair Donuts is a staple in the lush Tower Grove neighborhood and has been attracting folks to their hot, fresh donuts and baked pies for years. They are only open on the weekends, which gives ample time for the anticipation of Doughnut Hour to build throughout the week. Just pop by the counter and ask for a fresh one.
This area of town caters to a Mexican population, full of Mexican stores, restaurants, and bakeries. El Chico Bakery is a staple in the Cherokee Street business district. The staff is warm, welcoming, and loves their patrons. This quaint bakery is usually quiet, with customers canvassing the glass cases, trying to decide which Mexican pastry to conquer. Since all the desserts are authentically Mexican, every item is a unique experience for the American palate. The fruit empanadas are all the rave, or try the tamales that are made specially on Saturdays and Sundays; everything in the shop is reasonably priced.
