Furthermore, we serve Texas style kolaches, stuffed with different breakfast goodies ranging from bacon and eggs to sausage and jalapeno and beyond. Mrs. Backers Pastry Shop was opened in 1941 by Martin Backer. His Son and Daughter-in-law currently run the Show along with two of their children. The Backers come from a long line of Bakers that came to Salt Lake City in 1926. We want to make the same high quality beautiful desserts that we learned from our fathers.
