We are a deli specializing in hot and cold sandwiches, dedicated to bringing you the best ingredients; we use Boar's Head meats and cheeses. We now carry Boar's Head whole pickles as well for your enjoyment! Our hot sandwiches are all made on our flattop grill, and we are known for our delicious Green Chile Phillys! Our bread is fresh baked every day, our tomatoes fresh cut, and our avocado mashed every morning. We also specialize in true New Mexican breakfast burritos (that means our autumn roast hatch green chile!), with a selection ranging from bacon to steak, and always made fresh for you! We do deliver! We have a 3-sandwich minimum, and we deliver all over the city; depending on where you are, delivery fees range from $3-$5. (Outside a ten mile radius, we charge an extra $1-$3) Our employees make every sandwich from scratch; for the grilled steak sandwiches, that means it needs to cook! While we'd love to expedite the process, doing so would mean a decline in quality and tastiness. No one wants that! So, as you order, keep in mind: Quality takes time! It will be a miracle if you get your sandwich in less than five minutes

To reason that this restaurant is only popular because of its budget-happy prices would be a slanderous insult to the kitchen. The menu specializes in authentic New Mexican fare featuring popular choices as chicken tacos, hefty enchiladas, and a Chile Relleno that comes so smothered in cheese that one wonders if perhaps the chef has direct ties with the Wisconsin cheese industry. If the tongue begs for something other than Mexican there is also a decent selection of burgers and sandwiches. Beer and wine is available.
El Patio is so named because the majority of the seating is on an attractive tree-lined patio, ideal for people watching in Albuquerque's only pedestrian-friendly area of town. Reservations are not taken and the establishment is relatively small so to ensure an outdoor table, avoid the busiest times of day. They serve all the usual New Mexican fare, such as substantial portions of enchiladas, tacos and fajitas accompanied by sopaipillas. Should you forget that they do not accept credit cards, you can get in line for the money machine inside with the other diners who did the same.
