We are a local public expression of Deeper Roots Coffee, which has been ethically sourcing and skillfully roasting specialty coffee since 2011. We have a large selection of whole bean coffee available and offer a rotating Coffee of the Day as well as featured pour over coffee brewed to order. We serve a traditional espresso menu and creative signature drinks, and we have both iced coffee and cold nitro coffee on tap. We have beautiful teas from Rishi Tea and will have signature iced teas and seltzers in the warmer months. To compliment the coffee, we've got exceptional pastries from Frieda's Desserts and an outstanding toast menu featuring Sixteen Bricks breads and delightful spreads made by Hen of the Woods.
We not only want to make a better cup of coffee than you'll find anywhere, we want to make the world better. We try our best to do this by serving only the finest coffee that conforms to Fair Trade and organically grown standards. If this means traveling to Guatemala to hand select the beans, we do so. Our coffee is always fresh, too. In fact, every coffee bean used and sold at the café is roasted the same week. Our baristas then take it to the next level, creating memorable, distinctive drinks with artful precision. Our beans are roasted in small batches and each varietal, estate and blend has a unique profile.I am an Artisan Profile Roaster and my roasting philosophy differs from my competitors. Instead of roasting to a European standard of color such as French Roast, Italian Roast, etc, my goal is to “Romance” the beans in order to develop the unique quality of each bean in order to get the optimum flavor.I am passionate about my coffee and want to create a repeatable profile for every roast which will create consistent quality and flavor in your cup!
