First we pretreat the carpet rather than using the cleanser during steam cleaning. This allows time for the cleanser to loosen dirt and other contaminants from the carpet. Next we steam clean the carpet using a truck mounted machine, which simultaneously extracts dirt with high powered vacuum. This allows for a clean rinse resulting in no soap residue which would ultimately attract dirt again.

We at Red Rugs (a.k.a. The Carpet Muse) clean residential & commercial: carpets, rugs, area rugs, throw rugs, (& upholstery on a case-by-case basis). We do not offer other household cleaning. Since 2003, we have successfully (98% satisfaction rate) used the teri towel system: a low moisture process utilizing green, eco-friendly cleaning agents and equipment that very effectively removes dirt, odors, and moisture via a rapid-fire high-pressure blotting action between carpet and teri towel. Tough spots and stains (rust, urine, coffee, etc.) are spot treated as necessary before or after the machine cleaning. Depending on humidity and ventilation, most areas worked are dry within an hour or up to a maximum of 3 hours...no residual moisture for days that builds up mold and other undesirables. Jon, your reliable Technician, has purposely kept this business lean and green to keep to the max the quality of the work and the relationships. It will be a privilege to be of service to you!
