As a former Denver Post staffer, my style blends an editorial/documentary approach with creative portraiture to capture real-life experiences, emotions, relationships and personalities. Concentrating on the magic of the moment results in storytelling imagery that is unposed and unplanned, immediate and unobtrusive. I am not a participant in the day; I am an observer. However, I also have the training to generate traditional posed photographs, and I am an expert in use of various on location lighting techniques including use of strobes and off-camera fill flash.
