When I married my wife four years ago, I had a friend tell me, "The day comes and goes and the only things that last are the photos and the rings." I now shoot a wedding a bit differently because of that. You need to be comfortable with your photographer. They will be there for one of the most intimate and exciting times in your life. When I shoot engagement sessions, my priority is that you have a good time and that you come away with a great experience and fabulous images. In the end, I want to become a friend, and that is easy to do when we will be laughing and having a great time during the shoot. So when your big day comes, there will be no stress of having the photographer "follow you around". Instead, I will be another friend who just happens to be there - with a really nice camera.
