Petites Étoiles Atelier is a Huntsville-based character design academy offering small-group art classes, camps, workshops, and creative experiences for teens and adults. Rather than focusing only on making a finished picture, students learn how characters are actually designed—from shape language, expressions, posing, anatomy, costumes, props, and visual storytelling to creating characters that feel consistent and believable. Classes are designed to be welcoming to developing artists while still giving students real techniques they can continue using in their own work. Programs range from multi-week Character Design Academies and themed camps to one-day workshops and specialty drawing sessions. Petites Étoiles is also proudly human-made. Generative AI artwork is not used to create course materials, demonstrations, or promotional artwork. Students are encouraged to develop their own ideas, artistic voice, and drawing skills through hands-on instruction and practice. Founded and taught by a working artist, Petites Étoiles Atelier was created for artists who want more than a typical arts-and-crafts class—and a place where every artist has room to grow, experiment, and shine.
