Overlooking West 15th Street, Texas Medical Association is located in the bustling city of Austin in Texas. Established back in 1853, this organization represents and caters to tens of thousands of healthcare professionals in the state. It is also home to the History of Medicine Gallery. This museum showcases various exhibits that have been documented and preserved by Texas Medical Association over the decades. The organization’s main aim is to make medical facilities available to all the inhabitants of the state.

Our purpose is to aid teachers and administrators in their role as educators of our children. We serve as a liaison between the Texas Education Agency and the local school districts and the schools they serve by disseminating information, conducting training and consultation for both federal and state programs.
