Founded in 1897, we are a Seventh-day Adventist, college preparatory, WASC accredited Christian day school which serves K-12th grade. It is our goal that each student knows Jesus Christ as their personal savior and grow as disciples of Him. We have a dedicated staff, that are committed to providing each student with the foundation needed to achieve the highest success. Our philosophy is one that combines outstanding classroom instruction with hands on learning opportunities. Since 1998, Sierra Charter School, a K-12 Personalized Learning Public Charter School, has offered students an alternative to traditional public school. We serve students throughout the Central Valley - no referral needed to enroll. Through independent study and classroom instruction, students have fun doing hands-on activities and labs, and getting to know their teachers and peers in a safe, caring learning environment. We are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges with a focus to enhance each student's unique skills, passions, and talents through a personalized program that supports their learning needs.
Central High School East Campus is a secondary school offering college preparatory courses to students in grades 10 to 12. The east campus of the school was opened in 1996 and offers courses in various subjects, such as language arts, math, performing arts, social studies and computers. The school also offers various Future Farmers of America programs. It offers an aquatic center, library and computer laboratories. The library of the school offers Internet access, a large database and collections of books and journals. Its career center offers a program known as My Road that provides college, scholarship and career information. It also offers various extracurricular activities and sports programs. Central High School East Campus is a part of the Central Unified School District and is located in Fresno, Calif.
