Joseph of Cupertino Classical Academy is a hybrid, homeschool curricular program, which includes a rigorous classical curriculum, character development, spiritual formation, and enrichment in the classical tradition. The hybrid style embraces and combines the strengths of traditional school and homeschooling. Professional teachers instruct students in their areas of expertise and provide assignments for both school and home. Students attend the Academy each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On Wednesday and Friday, parents continue instruction and monitor their students’ progress at home. The family works together to facilitate a learning environment in the home, and teachers guide and monitor the progress through the Academy’s classical curriculum in their own areas of expertise. Joseph of Cupertino Classical Academy is the ideal setting for families desiring flexibility and parental involvement, with a focus on rigorous academics, strong Catholic faith formation and community. Our educational approach develops capable and independent students, and strengthens family bonds.
