Parkhill Christian Academy is a K-12 school with a Christian world view. The Academy opened in 1975 and has a long tradition of serving our community. Heaton Middle School is a learning center that is a part of Pueblo City Schools. The school provides educational services to students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, English, Spanish, science and social studies. The school offers special education and English as a Second Language programs. It also supports classes in art, physical education, and vocal and instrumental music. Heaton Middle School offers memberships in the National Junior Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes organizations. The school operates a student council, marching band, and ski and yearbook clubs. It conducts field trips and organizes talent shows and spelling bee competitions. The school s staff includes a speech pathologist, behavior advocate, media specialist, security resource officer, educational assistants and paraprofessionals. Located in Pueblo, Colo., Heaton Middle School is accredited by the Pueblo City Schools Accountability Committee.
