Pivik Elementary School is a part of the Plum Borough School District. The school, located in Plum, Pa., provides education to more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers classes in various subjects, such as math, language arts, science and social studies. In addition, the school s curriculum includes art, music, computers, and health and physical education. It has a parent-teacher association that offers additional support to the learning community. Pivik Elementary School has a library that offers a collection of quiz books, storybooks, encyclopedias and picture dictionaries.

Established in 1950, Hoover Elementary School serves more than 200 students in kindergarten through grade five. It is spread across an area of over 7 acres and features a library, cafeteria, playground and classrooms. The school conducts classes in core subjects, such as English, math, science, art, social studies, language arts, music, and health and physical education. Hoover Elementary School also offers a variety of extracurricular activities. In addition, its parent-teacher association raises funds for the benefit of the school. Located in Pittsburgh, Hoover Elementary School employs nearly 30 teachers. The school operates under the Mt. Lebanon School District, which operates junior and high schools, as well as approximately five elementary campuses.
