Tara Redwood School offers the most eclectic program in all of Santa Cruz County. It is a multi-aged, open classroom setting with a curriculum blend of our piloted Creating Compassionate Cultures program (CCC) and Montessori curriculum. We offer a stimulating math and language curriculum, as well as a rich arts and science program encouraging environmental studies, social studies and daily meditation techniques. We encourage students to explore nature through multiple life lab activities, also music enrichment and vigorous daily physical education on our 108 acres of forest campus.

Merit Academy offers one-on-one classes for grades K-12. Students enjoy personalized instruction to meet their academic needs while taking rigorous classes that prepare them for success in college. With this unique classroom setup, Merit can set up classes around your busy schedule in the comfort of your own home. Students can enroll full time or they can take single courses.
