Your child's home away from home. The Apple Tree Pre-School runs its learning programs for both three year old children and four year old children. Apple Tree Pre-School is fully licensed in the State of Connecticut. We provide a very friendly, caring and supportive environment. It is our policy to make learning fun for the child and to help each child feel good about themselves. Maintaining a non-stressful atmosphere for your child is very important to our staff here at Apple Tree Pre-School! Apple Tree Pre-School hours are 7AM -5:30PM. Children can be enrolled from two to five days per week. Morning and afternoon snacks and juice are served daily. Apple Tree Pre-School staff is made up of teachers and aides who have many years of experience and training in working with pre-school aged children. Please know that at Apple Tree Pre-School your child is cared for as an individual. We see each child as a separate, special person. We take great pride in knowing your child's experience here will be a rewarding one.
We have been open since 1992, and became Nationally accredited by NAEYC in April of 2011. We are also licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of health. L'il Critters has 42 slots for the School Readiness Program which operates on a Sliding Fee scale. This program is available to preschool aged children, and is on a first come first served basis. We also accept Care4kids. L'il Critters combines quality childcare with educationally positive and lasting experiences. We believe children learn best through play, while providing developmentally appropriate experiences, preparing each child for the next educational stage in their lives
A unique day care that provides the stimulating curriculum of a center in the comfort of a warm, nurturing home environment. In business since 1988. Program is for children 18 months and older. Open year round Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. We provide group activities as well as individual activities. We take field trips in connection with our monthly curriculum. Some examples of field trips are Story Time, Tumble Jungle, Music class, Fire Station, Police Station, Nature Centers, Zoo. Low teacher/child ratio. CDA recipient, Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Member of National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Member of National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC), Member of All Our Kin (Norwalk/Stamford area). Infant/child CPR/First Aid certified, medication administration training certified. Receive on-going training to enhance knowledge of early childhood education practices.
