Light Spanish Immersion Preschool was born a few years ago in the heart of two parents. We observed the interest and curiosity for acquiring a second language in our community and also saw a universal need to embrace and promote strong principles and values starting in early childhood. We believe that early childhood education, language immersion, musical arts and ethical values like love and respect play an important role in school readiness and into adulthood.

The Art & Nature Preschool is inspired by nature, and we incorporate local plants and animals into almost everything we do. We craft with feathers and leaves, use stones painted with the alphabet to spell out names, learn to count with acorns, practice yoga and sports in the backyard, and spend lots of time learning in our outdoor garden. One of our most popular activities is the "animal of the month." We choose a critter that is common in our backyards, like a squirrel or cardinal, and we spend a month doing different activities to learn about the species. Of course, with a nature theme, we make sure to spend lots of time outdoors. We grow herbs, vegetables, and fruit in the backyard. We love to explore the garden, learn how the plants grow, pick out ingredients, and prepare meals and snacks together. In my experience, children love to cook--even picky eaters! There's just something so satisfying about choosing the ingredients and making food with your own hands. The Art & Nature Preschool is a fully licensed Family Child Care program that has undergone a rigorous state-mandated process, including a 3-part background check for every person in the household, a home inspection, Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification, and unannounced visits from the Department of Early Education and Care Licensors.

Preschool/PreK. Ages 2.9-5 We are a developmental appropriate, playbased preschool/PreK. This developmental approach celebrates individuality, self-expression and creativity while fostering relationships with other children. This is all done in a structured , safe and welcoming environment.
The Learning Circle Childcare Center provides a loving, safe, healthy, fun, anti-bias, multi-cultural, educational, developmentally and individually appropriate program with a family friendly focus. The school has seven classrooms in total, and the ages of children range from 2 months until Kindergarten! The Learning Circle Childcare Center provides each individual child with a natural and stimulating environment for optimum development in all areas of growth: cognitive, social, emotional and physical.
