Newtowne School is a small, Reggio-inspired early childhood program serving roughly 60 children in Cambridge. We specialize in creating a warm, inclusive environment where children of many abilities, language backgrounds, and cultures feel welcome and supported. Our experienced teachers focus on building self-confidence, curiosity, and strong relationships through hands-on learning and collaboration. Families are active partners in school life, and we are committed to accessibility by offering financial aid and working closely with families to meet a wide range of needs. Melrose Day Care Center & Preschool

We are a full day child care center serving infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-k children. We are licensed for 85 children. Our program is NAEYC Accredited and we are actively working toward our Level 3 in the QRIS. The average tenure of our staff is 10 years. We offer a developmental curriculum, breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks daily. All food is nutritious and low in sugar and high in whole grains. We are a non-profit and run by a volunteer board of directors, comprised of parents and community members. We also have a state of the art outdoor playground.
