At Storyville we have two Toddler Classrooms plus Preschool, PreK and Kindergarten Classrooms. Each classroom has a theme-based curriculum that considers the child's interests and skill levels. We are open year-round. We have rolling admissions that allow children to enter any time during the year, space permitting. Interested families are encouraged to contact us to set up a tour and receive enrollment information.
Preschool Experience is a nationally accredited independent preschool started in 1980. Our program is designed for children ages 2 5 years old. We have three separate classrooms: a 2 3 year old class, the Bunnys, a 3 4 year old class, the Cubs, and a 4 5 year old class, the Rainbows. Each class is established separately, however opportunities do exist throughout the year for children of different ages to mix and interact together, particularly during the Extended Day program. The school has two convenient locations, each contiguous to our generous play yard. Upper School ( ages 3 5 ) is located in a sunny Victorian house on the first floor. The lay-out consists of two generous classroom areas, a "Kitchen" area for tactile play and painting, and a "Block Room" for small group play and music. Our secure playground has imaginary play stations, a sandbox, and a gym. Lower School ( age 2 ) is located on the opposite side of the play yard in an easily accessible classroom on the first floor of Trinity Episcopal Church Annex on Furber Lane. Our program is child-directed, based on each child's developmental needs. We place primary emphasis on the development of socialization skills, the fostering of each child's self-esteem, and the development of readiness skills. Our focus is on helping children gain the skills that will help them take their first independent steps and develop a joy of learning that enables them to interact with the world around them in meaningful and positive ways. We provide a nurturing, safe and friendly environment that encourages children to learn, share, and grow.
At Adventures Preschool Children’s Center we are dedicated to your child’s success! Our incredible, certified educators and staff have provided high-quality early education for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers for over four decades. Our educators are licensed through the Department of Early Education and Care, and are all certified in CPR and First Aid. We continually look to improve our program through the Massachusetts Department of Education’s QRIS system. We offer on-site CPR and First Aid for educators. Adventures Preschool is partnered with Children’s Literacy Initiative who works with us to create and execute our curriculum. We base our activities, readings and projects on monthly themes that rotate throughout the year. We focus on a variety of categories such as Language & Vocabulary, Music, Creative Arts, Math, Science, Fine Motor and Gross Motor. We have a book list each month and rotate books, toys, and activities within each classroom in accordance with the monthly theme. In addition, we offer a variety of cultural programs at our center such as yoga, music, action bus, dance & movement, and more! Echo Falls Preschool offers a supportive and nurturing developmentally appropriate environment in which children can maximize their competence levels and growth potentials. Saplings pre-school is a small, nurturing and enriching program for 2 and 3 year olds. We accept children who have turned 1y and 8m by September. Our developmentally based curriculum attempts to nourish the young child through art, music, literature and science in a spacious and sunny space leading into a beautiful garden.
