Carpenter Ants and Rodent related problems (e.g. mice, chipmunks and squirrels) are probably two of the most prevalent issues in the Tahoe area, and both pests fall into our "specialties" category..!! Of course Carpenter Ants are more of a Spring, Summer & Fall issue, however once they have set-up house (in your house...) they can emerge at anytime of the year, including during the winter season. Rodent issues (Mice, Chipmunks, Squirrels, etc) are also busy throughout the year, especially if the home or cabin is kept warm (e.g. to prevent pipes from freezing) or when you arrive to make use of your cabin, and turn up the heat, their activity will quickly resume...!!
