STAR Repertory Theatre is a 501(c(3) non-profit adult and youth community theatre organization organized exclusively for the educational, literary and presentational purposes of fostering greater awareness and understanding of performance theatre through educational programs and onstage theatrical performances. STAR Rep has been formed by actors who have grown up through participating in youth theatre, and are anxious to share their knowledge and experiences with today's youth! STAR Rep’s youth division is dedicated to ensuring that it's rehearsals and performances are FUN, Educational, and Rewarding. The adult division is dedicated to providing top quality professional performances that the public should tout as the best they have ever seen! STAR Rep’s mission is to teach, develop, create, promote, and present compelling and impassioned works that bridge communities through entertaining artistry. STAR Rep’s specific goal is to ensure that the child actors have fun while learning and performing, while the adult actors achieve the height of excellence!

Healing Empowerment: Where Science & Creativity Intersect Art Soul & Horses was born at the intersection of somatics, neuroscience, equine partnership, and creative expression. Research in neurobiology and co-regulation demonstrates that safety and attunement influence emotional resilience and mental health. Horses, as highly sensitive herd animals, respond immediately to shifts in human physiology and emotional state — offering real-time, non-verbal feedback that supports embodied self-awareness. My approach is also informed by expressive writing research pioneered by James W. Pennebaker and John F. Evans, whose studies demonstrate that structured emotional writing can improve health outcomes, process trauma, and build resilience. My creative foundation was shaped by the Morning Pages practice of Julia Cameron and the mindful, uncensored writing approach of Natalie Goldberg. From a young age, art and journaling were my refuge — and today they remain central to this work. Emerging research in quantum theory and biophysics further explores the interconnected nature of living systems and how focused awareness influences physiological states. In practical terms, I teach this simply: Awareness shifts internal state. Internal state shapes behavior. Behavior changes trajectory. This is what I call Healing Empowerment — an integrative experience where horses and creativity become catalysts for resilience, clarity, and self-trust.
