Built as the Scottish Rite Cathedral in 1926, this Romanesque Revival structure is a city landmark. Now known as the Scottish Rite Event Center, this stately building is home of the acclaimed 800-seat Ernest Borgnine Theater. It also features many other rooms suited for various occasions. From cultural events to meetings, live entertainment and galas, this venue can host almost anything.
Located in Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, The Pike used to be a glorious amusement park along the beach which attracted fire eaters, clowns, brass bands, fortune tellers and even boasted the first carousel. However as time passed, this place slowly became a commercial area renting out its spaces for retail shops, private events, festivals, open air markets and art exhibitions. The good news is that a sea facing Ferris Wheel still exists and exudes the old world charm of the early 1900's. Recent renovations of The Pike have successfully combined modern elements with older ones, making this one of Long Beach's best loved spots.
