Northern Starz Theatre Company is a non-profit, educational and community theater of Ramsey, MN who's mission is to promote awareness, appreciation, and fundamentals of theater arts through education of, and performances by, students of all ages. Our roots are with an informal organization called Broadway on Site began in 1996. It was designed to bring the theater experience to young students in the north suburban area of the Twin Cities who had a desire to learn about theater (or who perhaps just wanted to be in a play). Broadway on Site continues to offer theater programs through local Anoka Hennepin School District's Community Education programs. Starting in 2010, Broadway on Site added an "advanced, audition-only group" experience for students who have satisfactorily completed four previous Broadway on Site productions. In 2012 the informal organization producing the advanced shows was organized into what is now known as Northern Starz Theatre.
