Sodo Pop

Sodo Pop is an event space without catering restrictions making it both unique and affordable. The space includes a bar area, kitchenette, PA sound system, dance floor, air-conditioning and disco ball. This is a multi-pupose room where you create your vision. It legally holds 99 people with bonus areas such as a large over-flow hall, small vip room and outside balcony. A flat rate rental exists for the "do it yourself" people or the hosted option offers the opportunity for your guests to "chip in" and pay the expenses. With the exception of the $10 banquet permit, entertianment, optional food & decor, Sodo Pop manages the open bar, staff, ticketing, taxes and licenses. Once the expenses are paid, you keep the balance; it's a great way to afford catering, your favorite band or DJ or use to fundraise! A typical per person rate is $20 to $25. Take advantage of the low rates as the building's seismic retrofit nears completion.
