Newly remodeled backyard, with lots of activities and opportunities to play in the fresh air. Monthly tuition includes 4 home-cooked meals, and all the necessary material. Our belief is to provide every child with calm, caring, stimulating, fun and most importantly safe environment in which they can learn and strive. We use project-based learning that allows children to learn and discover essential lessons about the world around them and about themselves. Children get an opportunity to use their imagination, ask questions, make plans and watch their ideas come to live. We also incorporate educational curriculum that helps your child prepare for Kindergarten; which includes math skills, language skills (including pronunciation and phonics), drawing and painting, dramatic play, baking, art and crafts and gardening. Circle/story time and holiday program and celebration are also a part of our activities. Each child is unique and individual, we find a way to work with each child to help them develop their skills. We are CPR and First Aid certified and have completed Child Care Preventive Health & Safety Programs. We continue to follow all CDC and Child Care Licensing guidelines in regards to COVID 19.
Ella's Second Home is a family daycare facility for children 8 months 3years of age, serving the Inner Sunset neighbourhood of San Francisco, California. At Ella's Second Home daycare, we believe childcare is an important extension of a child's family. Small World Child Care is a licensed Mandarin Immersion Family Child Care located in Sunset Area! This is a safe, healthy and educational small world! We provide nutritious meals including breakfast, snacks, and lunch. Children will communicate in Mandarin daily. They will also develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills in our friendly and playful environment! Small World Child Care's provider is a highly qualified preschool teacher who has been teaching preschool more than 10 years. She is currently holding a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit.

Our Yerba Buena Gardens Child Development Center offers full-time infant and toddler care for children ages 3 months to 3 years and Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool for children ages 3 to 5 years. Each of our six classrooms is warm and welcoming, furnished with carefully selected materials and equipment. Our outdoor space includes two generous play areas, age-appropriate play structures, and several gardens. Much of our teaching staff hold bachelor's or higher degrees in early childhood education or child development, or certificates in early childhood education. To support our teachers, we give them one hour of daily prep time and a classroom budget for materials. We also encourage them to continue their professional development through workshops and other training. Both infant and toddler and preschool programs include various activities to foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
