Silverside Church is a diverse congregation in every sense of the word. We have no interest in orthodoxy; not surprisingly, then, the theological outlooks of those in our church family range from somewhat traditional-ish (though never dogmatic) to wildly liberal. In some respect, nonetheless, we would all claim to be followers of Jesus of Nazareth. We have unfailing enthusiasm for the quality of spiritual journeys, which continue throughout our lives; and we love supporting one another on our various journeys toward truth, inner peace, and joy. As for destinations...not so much.
Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church – Where Faith Feels Like Family Since 1992, Cornerstone has been a vibrant place of worship, healing, and hope in the heart of Wilmington, DE. Under the faithful leadership of Rev. Dr. Donald E. Dunnigan Sr., we’ve grown into a loving, Christ-centered church where everyone is welcomed, valued, and embraced just as they are. At Cornerstone, our motto says it all: “We Love! We Care! We Share! It’s a Family Affair!” Whether you’re seeking spiritual growth, meaningful connection, or a fresh start, you’ll find a place to belong here. From uplifting worship and Bible-based teaching to active ministries for youth, seniors, and families, there’s something for everyone. We’re more than just a church—we’re a community grounded in faith, guided by love, and committed to making a difference both inside and beyond our walls. Come experience the joy of worship, the power of fellowship, and the love of Christ in action. Visit us this Sunday at 10:00 AM—your *NEW* Church Family is waiting to welcome you!
