Our progressive Christian faith community welcomes all, no matter where they are on life's journey. As a sanctuary church, we welcome immigrants and refugees. As an Open & Affirming church, we proudly welcome LGBTQ+ people. We come together to consider practical ways to follow in Christ's path, so that we can further God's kindom of love, justice and peace. While we are proudly progressive, we are also unapologetically Christian. We worship each Sunday morning at 10 am; we sing in multiple parts harmony, with lively children and youth (including church school and child care). After our church service we generally have a time for fellowship. We remember the sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. Celebration Christian Church is a congregation rooted in the love of God and dedicated to worldwide transformation through revival. It is our goal for God's love to be manifest in signs, wonders and miracles as well as practical demonstrations of care and affection. We are a fellowship of believers that see each other first spiritually, allowing both men and women to use their God-given gifts to build up the body of Christ. We feel it is important to have a well-rounded spiritual development, which is obtained through multiple people using their gifts to build up the body. We have been in the portland area since 1983, changing lives and spreading the hope of the good news of Jesus. We are dedicated to loving Jesus, and the body of Christ as a whole. Established in the year 1886, Trinity Evangelical Church is Tigard's oldest church. Today, the church encourages its community members to love the Master, share His Gospel and follow His teachings. It runs several ministries including Men's Discipleship Gathering, Women's Bible Study and Parenting Class, among others. Men's ministry aims to promote God's message and encourages its members to serve as noble disciples. Women's ministry involves Bible study while Parenting Class helps parents in nurturing and raising their children. Trinity Evangelical Church also runs the Alpha course, a program that gives a chance to individuals to dig deep into the modern-day appositeness of the faith. Be a part of this ten-week course, whether to examine God's existence or to know more about life thereafter.
