IFAS Collier County Extension Office is a collaboration between the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences and Collier County's Public Services Division to offer education programs that focus on sustainable agriculture for small farms, horticulture, family nutrition, marine science and fisheries and extended learning opportunities for youth.
Located in Naples, Fla., Probation and Parole Services is a division that supervises offenders in the community who have been placed on probation and who have been released from prisons with post-release supervision. The division also offers employment assistance and substance abuse and mental health counseling services. It administers community-based programs that include sex offender treatment services. Probation and Parole Services is a part of the Florida Department of Corrections, which provides mental health care, supervision and vocational rehabilitation services. The department promotes public safety and assists felons to return to normal life. It also provides educational programs that include adult basic education, printing, graphics, carpentry and digital design sessions.
