Burning Cedar Sovereign Kitchen, Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization operating as Burning Cedar Sovereign Wellness, a forthcoming urban Indigenous community space. We are dedicated to addressing socioeconomic disparities, health crises, and cultural disconnection affecting Indigenous communities by re-establishing ancestral foodways, birthing practices, and traditional medicine, educating future generations of Indigenous cooks, supporting Indigenous food producers, teaching sustainable and environmentally restorative practices, and providing resources for our people to improve their spiritual and physical health through ancestral ways of knowing.
We Can Do More, Inc. of Tulsa, OK, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving healthcare providers who, when America and the rest of the world shut down and sheltered in place, provided care and support to those suffering from COVID-19. Healthcare workers put their lives at risk to treat patients. To show our gratitude, We Can Do More, Inc. supports and recognizes nurses for their steadfast commitment to meeting the needs of patients and their communities.
