We provide domestic disaster relief, blood collection and distribution services, preparedness information, health and safety training, service to the armed forces, and international services.
Heart of the Valley YMCA has implemented the "Y's Way to the Creative" Curriculum for Preschool in its three child development centers. The "Y's Way to the Creative" Curriculum is based on extensive research on how young children learn. The core areas of the curriculum include literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, arts, technology, healthy habits and spiritual, moral and social development.

The Southeast Family YMCA offers 24/7 fitness center access, wellness programs, group exercise classes, a Cybex fitness center, two indoor swimming pools, splash pad, youth sports, two basketball gyms, indoor track, racquetball courts, children's day camp, after school care, homeschool PE, NinjaZone, free child watch for Family Memberships, swimming lessons and massage therapy. Heart of the Valley YMCA is 25,000 members strong serving our community through three branches in Downtown and Southeast Huntsville as well as the Hogan Y in Madison; YMCA Northwest, YMCA Southeast and YMCA Downtown Child Development Centers.
