The Myopothecary is an integrative somatic bodywork practice founded on one conviction: the body knows how to heal. Under the direction of Jordan Barton, LMT, CMT, BS - with over 30 years of clinical experience across addiction recovery, resort wellness, and professional education - every session is built around what we call Intrinsic Release™: the process of inviting the nervous system to unwind rather than forcing tissue to comply. We specialize in therapeutic massage & bodywork, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and somatic integration for clients navigating chronic tension, stress-related holding patterns, trauma-informed body needs, and postural dysfunction. This is clinical bodywork with a sophisticated touch - designed for people who have tried everything else and are ready for something that actually works. Based in Old Town Pasadena, we serve clients seeking regular, ongoing care. Most clients come every 1-4 weeks as part of a committed wellness practice. We hold space for the whole person. We do not rush. We do what is needed - and nothing else. 1) Intrinsic Release™ for customized integrated, nervous system-informed techniques. 2) Craniosacral Therapy, particularly for chronic headaches, TMJ/Jaw tension, post concussive recovery, and deep nervous system unwinding. 3) New Client Consultation and Session - your first step toward Reset. a thorough intake and conversation followed by your first session. Sessions range from $145-$295 before Membership or Reset
