Dr. Nayeb-Hashemi graduated from Northeastern University before attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, from which he received his MD in 2007. He completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Gluckman received his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Following a year of internship and community medical service, he completed his internal medicine residency through the College of Physicians in South Africa.
