LA Midwife Collective offers personal and professional midwifery care for women and families desiring a home birth. Our services include complete prenatal care, nutritional support, education and counseling, continuous hands-on assistance during labor and birth, and care for mom and baby through six weeks postpartum. We believe that pregnancy and birth are normal processes and focus on preventative care to keep moms and babies healthy. We maintain relationships with obstetricians and pediatricians throughout Los Angeles with whom we consult and collaborate if the need arises.

That you and your partner will feel and find peace in your pregnancy and birth, that you will experience true joy and that you be able to settle into a safe place as you walk through your birth journey. We offer our mamas prenatal yoga to help get their bodies ready for labor and delivery. As well as birth meditations to help relax their minds and a special sound bath for a deeper healing and relaxation. After the birth we are there to help support the new mama and her baby, with breastfeeding tips, placenta encapsulation, newborn infant care, warm oil abhyanga massage, belly binding and a closing of the bones ceremony.
