This is the pediatric-only office of Richmond Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, on Gaskins Road between Patterson Avenue and Ridgefield Parkway. Three pediatric dentists see kids here from the first tooth through age 18. No adult patients, just kids. Care here includes first visits for babies and toddlers, cleanings and checkups, sealants, tooth-colored fillings and crowns, tongue-tie and lip-tie treatment, and same-day time for dental emergencies. Nervous kids are a big part of what we do. Nitrous oxide and other sedation options are available, and we walk you through the choice before you decide. Children with autism, sensory differences or developmental delays get quieter rooms and a first appointment that can be just a tour. We accept Virginia Medicaid for children's dental care, including Cardinal Care Smiles, DentaQuest and Doral, plus most major dental plans. When braces come up, our orthodontists are a few minutes away on Patterson Avenue and already have your child's chart. Orthodontic consultations are free. We're privately owned and have cared for Richmond kids for over 100 years.
