About Dr. Michael Morris Dr. Michael Morris is a Houston based surgeon specializing in General, Lapro-endoscopic and Robotic surgery. Special interests include Gallbladder, Intestinal and Hernia surgery. He earned his medical degree in South Africa where he completed a board certified residency program in general surgery. Dr. Morris continued his specialty training in London, England obtaining his surgical boards as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. In Houston Dr. Morris started his surgical career as an instructor in surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and a clinical professor of surgery at the University of Texas. Currently Dr Morris is a Surgical Faculty Member of the University of Houston college of Medicine.
