Anisa Yalom, MD, is a fellowship-trained, dedicated hand surgeon, offering her expertise to patients aged 12 and older at her self-named practice in San Diego, California. Dr. Yalom earned her bachelor's degree at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts where she studied anthropology and art. She then completed her postbaccalaureate premedical studies at Columbia University in New York City, New York. Dr. Yalom earned her medical degree from the prestigious David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was given the Dean's Award for an Outstanding Thesis and the Award for Excellence in Surgery. She was a proud member of the College of the Urban Underserved at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science.
