I am not your typical massage therapist. Something I have learned over these past 5 years of experience is that pain has BOTH a physical AND an emotional component!! Our emotions and how we feel get trapped in our muscles, in our tissues and even in our posture and how we carry ourselves. We carry this stress and burden with us through our everyday lives as we perform the necessary tasks and duties that are required of us. It can show up in our lives as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, jaw pain, headaches, or even being short-tempered and snappy with our loved ones. What I do that is different is that I address BOTH of these components of pain. Based on how you want to feel at the end of your session and your goals, I then am able to mold the massage to your specific needs and goals.
