We offer high touch, deeply connected midwifery care. Since we are a very small practice, you have a chance to really get to know us. We are the ones on call for your birth, and we are the ones who help you deliver your baby at Alta Bates hospital in Berkeley. Our office is housed inside the lovely East Bay Birth Collective, where we see you for all (one hour long) prenatal appointments and postpartum care. Helping your baby enter the world into your own loving and calm environment is such a pleasure. As a community midwife, I provide personalized midwifery care prenatally, during labor and birth, and in the postpartum. My goal is to support you and your family in a safe, comfortable, and informed experience. I believe in informed choice and informed refusal. Physiological, low intervention, and autonomous birth is my default. Supporting your individual decisions and needs, I want you to feel empowered and successful in your homebirth experience and as a parent. I work with families planning VBAC, waterbirth, first babies, 10th babies, and everywhere in between. Placenta services are fully customizable. I will pick up your placenta from the place of birth and deliver to you in 1-2 days. Choose from placenta encapsulation, tincture, salve, broth, prints, umbilical cord keepsake, and lactation cookies. I am always available to answer questions and help you with how to use the items or decide what is right for you. I use packaging made from recycled materials and all organic ingredients to ensure the purest and safest preparation.
