I provide emotional support to women giving birth, going through divorce, as well as cancer treatment. My passion for caretaking started as a young child while taking care of my younger brothers and our animals. Unbeknownst to me, there was a name associated to the act of comforting my dogs and cats as they gave birth and dealt with the loss of their puppies/kittens: Doula. I consider it an honor to support women in a way I wish I had while going through three births, divorce (after 20 years of marriage), and treatment against breast cancer (chemo and bilateral mastectomy).
