Hi, I'm Nikki and I am a local homebirth midwife in North Austin. I provide home births, water births, prenatal care & postpartum/well newborn care from the comfort of your home. I am passionate about seeing women truly supported during pregnancy and birth with evidence based care and wisdom. I assist with getting you prepared for natural childbirth including childbirth class referrals, recommendations, books, videos and general counseling. I provide the medical care for you and your baby during your homebirth or waterbirth, and immediate postpartum followup. I provide postpartum and well newborn care for up to 6-8 weeks postpartum. I help with initial breastfeeding and can also perform preconception counseling. This evidence based care is all provided in your home.
