Susannah Kolstad is a certified postpartum doula providing nighttime (overnight) support to families during the first 12 weeks after your baby's birth, often referred to as the fourth trimester. She prides herself on her ability to provide emotional and physical non-judgemental support to new parents, and she focuses on compassion, empathy, and encouragement. Serving families in Northern Virginia including Alexandria City, Arlington County, Fairfax County, and Washington, DC, Susannah nurtures and nourishes the entire family, ensuring everyone is well rested and supported in this time. Her goal is to provide support for you during postpartum periods to lessen the burden on you and your family, so you can experience a beautiful and joyful babymoon!

Founded in 2004 and based in Alexandria, Va., the company has a board of medical advisors, certified childbirth educators and lactation consultants to ensure the accuracy and high quality of its products. Parent Educator Services worked with hospital administrators and labor and delivery staff to teach childbirth classes, baby-care basics and other prenatal classes for area Washington DC Metro hospitals: Medstar Washington Hospital Center, George Washington University Hospital and Sibely Memorial Hospital.
