Handel's Homemade Ice Cream

On a hot summer day in July of 1945, Alice Handel began serving ice cream in Youngstown, Ohio. With the finest ingredients, she made her ice cream one batch at a time, using personal recipes and fresh fruit from her garden. Today, over 75 years later, Alice's dedication to quality and service has remained the same. The Handel's way is to serve with a smile and always use the best ingredients in abundance. WE NEVER SKIMP!

Lick Honest Ice Creams

To us, honest ice creams simply means we use only pure, wholesome ingredients in our artisanal ice creams. What doesn't go into our ice creams is just as important as what does. We never use artificial colors or flavors, high fructose corn syrup or preservatives, ever! Ice cream shouldn't just taste good -- we believe it should also be good.

Zeds Real Fruit Ice Cream

We’re swirling made-to-order real fruit ice cream, and pouring local draft beer, good wine, and coffee (hot & cold)!

Amy's Ice Cream

Amy's Ice Cream shops are spreading throughout the city of Austin like the spaceships from the Independence Day movie, breaking off from the mothership on central Guadalupe Street.  This specific location is right next to the Regal Westgate Stadium 11 movie theater, and they advertise a free "crush-in" (Graham Cracker pieces, Kit Kat candies, etc.) mixed into your treat after showing the staff your ticket stub.  The menu ranges from plain vanilla to rotating alcoholic ice cream flavors (on one visit, one of the special selections was Guinness Beer) to ice cream cakes for special occasions.  Feel free to snap a photo or two in the old-fashioned photo booth within the store, and grab a free magazine from their selection right by the door.
