Tsuki was born from a deep love of food, culture, and connection. Our founder grew up between worlds—spending his childhood, summers and high school years in Japan, rooted in the traditions of his Japanese heritage, and now calling Portland home. Family gatherings, neighborhood festivals, and late-night snacks with friends shaped a belief that food is more than just sustenance—it’s a way to show love, to share joy, and to build community. Bingsu and taiyaki were always a part of that experience: icy bowls piled high with fresh fruit on humid summer days; warm, golden fish-shaped cakes filled with sweet red bean or custard on chilly nights. These were the flavors of his youth, tied to moments of laughter, storytelling, and togetherness. Opening Tsuki has been a dream grounded in that spirit. We’re here to bring that familial feeling to Portland—a place to slow down, share something sweet, and connect with the people around you. We believe food tells a story, and every bingsu and taiyaki we serve is a page in ours. We hope you’ll join us around the table.

Not your kids ice cream truck! We offer the finest year-round service, offering hand-scooped frozen vegan (Italian Ice) and dairy (Tillamook) desserts. Designed specifically for corporate and wedding events, our services provide a variety of equipment sizes and looks to satisfy most needs. We have the experience and equipment to serve groups from 75 to 500+. Our equipment includes: • Indoor/outdoor mobile sidewalk cart (holds 6 flavors) • Tux Service Van (holds 8 flavors) • Q (1981 Fire Rescue Van) Holds 8+ flavors Aside from our own, sorbet style Mita's Italian Ice and local, well-loved Tillamook ice cream, our menu offerings include every grown-ups dream! Menu options include: Root Beer, Orange, Vanilla Creme Floats, Italian Coolers, Affogatos (espresso floats), waffle cones, ice cream sandwich (pre-built or built to order), sundae bar(s). Professional, friendly, and turn-key! The hardest thing you'll have to do is pick flavors (oh, and we can do that for you too if you'd like.)
