The Monument to Sharing is a wonderful work of art. It features 32 trees that bear the fruit orange. Each of these trees are barricaded with metal rings that give a message in the form of poetry. This poem is written by members who live in the neighborhood. It signifies the love they have for each other and the community.
Designed by the talented artist Debra Scacco, Origins is a beautiful mirror-covered structure. It gives us a peek into the history of the scenic Los Angeles River. It features two rectangular-shaped boards that illustrates how the river changed course between the years 1815 and 1825. Other interesting artworks in Los Angeles State Historic Park includes Monument to Sharing and Psychic Body Grotto.
