Northlake Nature Center

The Northlake Nature Center (NNC) was founded in 1982 with the aim of collecting, preserving and exhibiting the region's rich natural resources to the public. It is open from dawn to dusk throughout the year and bears no entrance fees except for certain activities and guided walks. Educational programs such as lectures, discussions, bird-watching, kayaking, group fun activities, nature trails etc are organized for corporates, families and kids. Fontainebleau State Park

Located in the state of Louisiana, Fontainebleau State Park was previously known as Tchefuncte State Park and Conservation Reservation. The sprawling parkland is enveloped by the majestic Lake Pontchartrain and the lucid streams of Bayou Castine and Bayou Cane. This area was once home to a brickyard and a sugarcane farm that was owned and managed by Bernard de Marigny. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this beautiful state park offers an array of recreational opportunities such as boating, camping, and biking.
