Palmer Woods Historic District

Palmer Woods Historic District is a historically and architecturally significant neighborhood in Detroit comprising of nearly 300 homes. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, the houses feature Colonial and Tudor Revival styles of architecture. Most of the homes were built in 1925 and are characterized by grand properties with vast and beautiful lawns. The district has also been home to some famous personalities over the years.

Sullivan Park

Sullivan Park offers 31.5 acres (12.74 hectares) of leisure time for the whole family, with picnic areas and a playground for children. The park is located west of Woodward Avenue, at Parkway Drive and Normandy Road. See the website for more information.
