Wilderstein Historic Site

Wilderstein was the riverside mansion of Thomas Suckley. After being occupied by the Suckley family from the 1800s till 1991, the Wilderstein Preservation Society now owns the Queen Anne Style structure. The mansion is now open as a museum and has a collection of household artifacts, furniture, and many other items used by its former inhabitants. On a visit to the mansion one can admire the architectural work and know more about the lifestyle of the people during the period. The beautiful landscaped gardens offer mesmerizing river views and several trails to go hiking.  

Grasmere

The Grasmere is a historic estate located at Rhinebeck, New York. Built in 1824, this three floored Federal style estate is privately owned, but is available for private events such as weddings. It also includes vast gardens and yards. The estate has been visited by many notable personalities over the years, and was also the venue for the wedding of Bill and Hillary Clinton's daughter, Chelsea Clinton. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
