Greenfield Park is a favorite for BMX racing and skateboarding. There are skate camps and clinics for beginners and a large facility spanning 9000 square feet (836 square meters) for professionals. The supportive ledges and rails make night skating feasible as well. If you are not the adventurous type, stroll around till you come to the lake and spot turtles, seagulls, grebes, herons, ducks and even scary alligators! You can also rent out a canoe to paddle around, picnic at one of the gazebos, or spend hours gazing at birds and squirrels. Choose a secluded bench by the lake, under the shade of trees, to while away a lazy afternoon.
