Transmitter Park

Once a radio transmission tower, now a recreational park, the WNYC Transmission Park adorns natural beauty with its spectacular waterfront location and green spaces. Opened in 2012, the park provides ample of recreational activities for children as well as adults. A separate play area for the kids, the park also has designated spaces for fishing, seating and walking. Excellent for spending time with the family, you can also enjoy the magnificent view of the Manhattan skyline and East River.

Four Freedoms Park

Located on the southern tip of Roosevelt Island, Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park is a four-acre (1.61 hectares) open space built in the memory of former President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the four freedoms he stated in his 1941 speech. This beautiful park is designed by ace architect Louis Kahn and has been a popular tourist destination ever since it opened its gates in 2012.
